Sweet Potato Protein Brownies

A delicious, high-protein brownie made with real ingredients. These sweet potato protein brownies combine deep chocolate flavor with balanced macros, making them a smart dessert or snack that fits easily into an active, performance-focused nutrition plan.

This delicious brownie is a more calorie-dense dessert, but it’s built from high-quality, nutrient-rich ingredients that serve a real purpose in an active lifestyle. Sweet potato provides steady energy through complex carbohydrates, protein supports recovery and satiety, while cocoa and dark chocolate deliver a rich flavor along with antioxidant benefits. Thanks to its balanced macro-nutrient profile, it's a smarter alternative to traditional sweets.

Ingredients (full batch):

  • 200 g sweet potato

  • 30 g vanilla or chocolate vegan protein powder (we use Scitec Nutrition)

  • 30 g peanut butter (without sugar)

  • 15 g cocoa powder

  • 15 g honey

  • 2 eggs

  • 25 g dark chocolate (minimum 75% cocoa)

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation:
Bake the sweet potato with the skin on in the oven (about 1 hour 20 minutes) or in an air fryer (about 50–60 minutes) at 200°C. Once baked, peel it and let it cool for about 30 minutes.

Mash the sweet potato and add the remaining ingredients: eggs, protein powder, peanut butter, honey, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Finely chop the dark chocolate and fold 15 g into the mixture. Mix well, then pour the batter into a baking dish (ideally 15 × 20 cm). Sprinkle the remaining 10 g of chopped dark chocolate on top.

Bake in the oven at 200°C for approximately 25 minutes.
